Chinese New Year “Yuan Bao” Event
Date: From 9th February 2010 ~ 28th February 2010
Monsters are dropping Yuan Bao (golden ingots) all over MapleSEA during this joyous occasion.
Be sure to collect them and exchange it for a Hong Bao with Joyce. The more ingots you give to Joyce, the bigger the Red Packet is. Take the Hong Bao to Cai Shen and get a chance to walk away with 888,888 mesos with the Special Red Packet!

Player can celebrate the “Year of Tiger” with the majestic lion dance in MapleSEA! All they have to do is speak to Yuan Bao Fo conveniently located in most towns to travel to a special event map where the playful Dong Dong Chiang hides!
If you happen to miss Dong Dong Chiang to the early birds, do linger around and keep a sharp eye for it as it re-spawns after some time. Defeat the monster and celebrate the Chinese New Year special with special drops like local specialties and Maple weapons!
