Game Masters Events for Izar ! | 16.11

Dear Maplers,

There are a series of events brought to you in Izar world during the November Vacation! Participate in these events and stand a chance to win wonderful prizes!

Event Details: Game Masters Events for Izar World
Dates: 20th November 2009 ~ 12th December 2009

Coconut Harvest Event

Date: 20th November 2009, 27th November 2009 & 4th December 2009
Time & Venue: In-Game Announcement

  • Coconut Harvest requires teamwork. GM will split the participants into 2 teams, each team will be dressed in different color.
  • In a limited timeframe, members in each team will need to chop down the coconuts found on the trees.
  • There will be a counter indicator on screen to show the number of coconuts each team has chopped in total. The team that had the most coconut chopped will be the winning team.
  • During the game, all attack skills will be disabled. So please chop the coconuts with regular attack.
  • Beware that there will be some fake coconuts that can’t be chopped off!

Ola Ola! Event

Date: 21st November 2009, 28th November 2009 & 5th December 2009
Time & Venue: In-Game Announcement

  • Ola Ola is a game where participants climb ladders to reach the top. Climb your way up and move to the next level by choosing the correct portal out of the numerous portals available.
  • Game consists of three levels, and time limit is 6 minutes.
  • During Ola Ola, you won’t be able to jump, teleport, haste or boost your speed using potions or items.
  • There are also trick portals that will lead you to a strange place, so please be aware.

Hyper Dash! Event

Date: 22nd November 2009, 29th November 2009 & 6th December 2009
Time & Venue: In-Game Announcement

  • Hyper Dash is also known as MapleStory Physical Fitness Test, is a race through an obstacle course similar to Forest of Patience.
  • Participants will need to overcome various obstacles and reach the final destination within the time limit will win this event.
  • The game consists of four levels and the time limit is 15 minutes.
  • During Hyper Dash, you won’t be able to jump, teleport, haste or boost your speed using potions or items.

Treats for Trade! Event
Date: 12th December 2009
Time & Venue: In-Game Announcement

  • Collect the sufficient amount of Trophies to exchange for the prize you want!
  • Players will have to gather at the venue to wait for the GM to start the exchange.
  • The GM will appear in different locations around the venue with a mini-game room open to start each exchange. The mini-game room is free for all to enter.
  • Once player enter the mini-game room, the GM will ask you questions and verify the amount of trophies you have.
  • There will only be 10 players who will be able to exchange their trophies for the prizes. Will you be the lucky one?
  • A total of 5 Brown Work Gloves and 5 White Polar Chairs will be available for exchange only.
  • One character is only entitled to one exchange.


Prizes for the Trade

30 Trophies – 1 X Brown Work Glove
40 Trophies – 1 X White Polar Bear Chair


Rules & Regulations for all above Game Masters Events

  • Players who use hack, offensive, sexual, abusive representations etc. will be dealt with according to our User Abuse Policy.
  • Events are on first come first serve basis, not every player will get the chance to play in the event.
  • Please expect disconnection due to player’s own bandwidth capacity.
  • GM’s decision is final.

Let’s go Zakum! Event


Work hand-in-hand with the Game Masters as they will be helping Maplers to obtain the highly desired Zakum Helmet! Available to Izar Maplers at level 50 and above!!

With the launch of a new world, do you find it hard to defeat the Zakum? Your chance is here to defeat him with the assistance of the Game Masters!


Event: Let’s go Zakum!
Date: 23rd November 2009 to 27th November 2009
Time & Venue: In-Game Announcement
World: Izar World
Event Duration: 1 hour

Event Details & Conditions

  • All 3 Zakum Quests are to be completed by player and gather at the stated map at stated time to register for Zakum Squad
  • Players are to bring own potions. (Minimum Healing will be done by the Game Master)
  • Summoning of Zakum will be done by the player by throwing the Eye of Fire. (Game Master will not be summoning of Zakum)
  • Game Master will not be responsible for any death in Zakum Alter
  • Game Master will only help in defeating Zakum.
  • Using of buffs skill will be at Game Master own discretion.
  • No reviving will done by the Game Master
  • Players who got disconnected or return to town after death will not be teleported back into Zakum Alter.
  • Zakum Drops are Free For All.

Rules & Regulations

  • Misconduct during the event will not be tolerated and will be dealt with according to our User Abuse Policy.
  • Hacking activities found during the event will not be tolerated and will be dealt with according to our User Abuse Policy.
  • Squad leader who constantly kick other player out of the squad will be disconnected from the game.
  • GM’s decision is final.
