An Update Regarding Drop Restriction Issue on 11th November 2020

Dear Maplers,

As some of you may already know, a server wide drop restriction was applied last Wednesday (11th November) with regards to an incident pertaining to an exploit where 'Inter-account Exchangeable Only' items could be transferred externally, which is not the intended nature of such items and/or game mechanics.

While the issue has been rectified as of the Urgent Channel Check on Thursday (12th November), it was discovered that a handful of players have been taking advantage of the said exploit.

As such, all players who were not at MVP Red Rank tier, but managed to receive items and Maple Points for the MVP Red Royal Pack on the 11th November 2020, will be placed under a 7-day ban with effect from today. All affected accounts will only be released after fulfilling the full term suspension.

We hope that this serves as a deterrent, and a reminder to all players not to exploit or gain unjustifiable benefits from glitches or bugs.

Our goal has always been to provide a fair and safe gaming environment for all of our players and we hope to serve you better in the foreseeable future.
