MapleSEA Loading Screen Design Contest

Come one, come all!

Show your creative talents to the world! And stand a chance to get your artwork showcased as a background on our Channel Selection Screen!

Eligibility: All users can participate in this event.


Event Guidelines

• Participants can include any Maplestory-themed elements in their artwork
• Participants highly encouraged to design their artwork around the theme of Singapore/Malaysia
• Participants are also encouraged to include their signature or "trademark" in their designs (e.g. 'Designed by CM Venshi')
• Each participant can submit multiple entries, but will only be eligible for one prize.
• Submissions are strictly to be in the following format: *.png, 1024x768px dimension.
• Participants’ IGN and World must be stated clearly in the write-up.
• Inappropriate entries will be automatically disqualified.
• Entries with incomplete information or do not follow the guidelines as above will be voided and disqualified.
• Entries should be submitted in latest by 6th September 2016, 2359hrs (GMT +8).
• There will be a voting period on Facebook which will begin on the following week after submission period
• There will be 2 winners: 1 winning design selected via a panel of judges from Asiasoft, and the other design determined by Facebook "likes" of the public

Judging Criterias

• Originality - Design concept/ideas/theme, methods used to achieve design. Are your images originally hand-drawn or referenced from another source?
• Creativity - What makes your work stand out against the rest?
• Feel - Does it trigger any emotion? e.g Do we feel inspired upon looking at the design? Determined? Happy? Sad?

Rewards

• 1x Winning Design
» The winning design will be submitted to Nexon Korea to be included in the channel selection screen for future content patches*.
» The winner will also receive a Maple World Chair.

• 1x Most Liked Design
» The most popular design determined by Facebook 'likes' will win a Happy Photo Frame Chair.

• Non-winning Participants
» All other participants who did not win will receive an Artist Chair.

Terms and Conditions

• *Asiasoft Online and Nexon Corporation reserves the right to edit the colour scheme or proportion of the design where necessary
• Nexon Corporation shall own the intellectual property rights to the contents and any derivative works.
• If a winning entry is accused of plagiarism, the participant shall forfeit the prize and at the same time the participant shall bear the legal responsibility for the plagiarism. This rule shall also apply to all other non-winning entries who are found guilty of plagiarism.
• Each entry shall meet the minimum requirements in order to receive the prizes. If there are no qualified entries, Nexon Corporation may abstain from selecting winners.
• The winning entry will be developed into the game client's channel selector screen in a future patch, however the release schedule may be changed without prior notice and notification.
• All submissions must be posted on the designated Facebook post.
• All decisions by Asiasoft Online and Nexon Corporation are final & binding.
• Asiasoft and Nexon Corporation reserve the right to edit or change any of the above without prior notice.
