Get More Action With These Action Pets!

Dear Maplers,

Always dreamed of having a pet that can evolve as you level it up? Love the old Dragon/Robo pets but thinking that you could use a new one?

Then look no further – introducing the Action Pets!

The Demon and Devil pet series not only can evolve and transform as they level up, they also provide awesome assistance in the from of buffs as you train!

Introduction

But of course, to begin owning this awesome pet you must first obtain the Action Demon Egg, which can be purchased from the Cash Shop (limited time availability until 10th December 2014)

After which, NPC Lady Blair will ask you a question, in which the answer will determine the attribute of the pet that you will get.



There are 3 Attributes to choose from – Lux (Light), Tempus (Time), and Vita (Life). Each attribute will determine on the outlook of your pet while in its transformation.



All pets will begin with the same base look. However, when activating the action pet with the command ‘transform’, your Action Pet will turn into a transformed version, the color depending on the attribute that you have chosen.



On top of looking cooler while transformed, the Action Pet will also provide the owner with its basic buff as well as a random buff, casted at a fixed duration only while the pet is transformed and in combat. The strength and duration of the buff is determined by the level of the Action Pet. (If your pet does not seem to want to transform while you’re attacking, you may wish to take note of the area that you are in. The Action Pet works best in areas where monsters are within 11 levels below and 21 levels above you.)

Evolving

Meanwhile, have you ever seen one of these in-game?



They are most likely to be found when you have slain Elite Bosses. If your Demon Action Pet has achieved its max level, you can further improve it by allowing it to evolve – via the Accelerator.

Double click the Accelerator and a Pet Evolution window will appear. Click on the “Evolve” button to proceed.



Voila, you have an evolved Devil Action Pet!

With the evolved pet, you now obtain an even stronger basic buff, while the pet will provide you with more varieties of buffs when transformed.

Buffs

Refer to the Chart below for a list of obtainable buffs from the Action Pets, as well as the conditions to be met for certain buff triggers:



Note:
• The Basic Buffs ‘Demon Pet Boost’ and ‘Devil Pet Boost’ can stack with each other, however you cannot have more than one of each basic buffs on at any point of time.
• Remember to unequip it first before proceeding on to evolve it
• If your pets doesn’t seem to respond to transforming, head to an area where monsters are within 11 levels below and 21 levels above you and try attacking them.

So get your Action Pets now before they’re no longer available!
