Missing Equipment Stats and Seal Lock System

Dear Maplers,


Missing Equipment Potential / Enhancement Stats (D/E/I World)

We are aware and currently investigating the issue of missing equipment potential and enhancement stats encountered by some Maplers in D/E/I World.
We will announce the latest updates in our website once we have the latest news.

We urge Maplers encountering this issue NOT to do additional reset of potential stats using miracle cube or enhancement on the affected equipments while we seek to fix this issue by the next up coming server maintenance.

Once again we apologize for this issue and thank you for your understanding while we try to rectify this issue.

Update on 25th October 2011
We apologized to all affected maplers that we are still in the mids of investigating this issue. We will update in this news entry as soon as possible once we can rectify this issue.

Update on 1st November 2011
During the server maintenance, we have fixed the issue of missing equipment potential and enhancement stats encountered by some Maplers in D/E/I World.
All affected Maplers’ MapleStory accounts have been compensated with 10,000 Maple Points for the inconvenience caused to them during this period of time while we are trying to this issue.

Change in Seal Lock System

Please be informed that there are additional enhancement features for Seal Lock System after Chaos Patch.

Seal locked equipments are:

1. Unable to use any type of normal scrolls, including potential and enhancement scrolls to prevent equipment being destroyed in any way.
2. Unable to use Shielding Ward on equipment as it is considered a cash item scroll.
3. Still able to use Miracle Cube, Premium Miracle Cube and Vicious Hammer on equipment.
4. Equipment is untrade-able in any way within the seal locking period.

• We are aware of Maplers feedback of unable to use Shielding Ward on seal locked equipments.
• We seek to provide assistance to all Maplers that purchased Shielding Wards and are unable to used them on your seal locked equipments due to the change in Seal Lock System.
• Due to the complications with the new changes, we will announce the latest updates in our website before the up-coming server maintenance on the resolution.

Update on 25th October 2011

All purchased Shielding Wards’ between 19th to 24th October 2011 that are unused, will have their validity duration extended for another 30 Days.
