World Merge: The Singularity

With the energy, impetus and desires drawn from Maplers, a Singularity started to form. The Singularity began pulling the worlds of Delphinus, Eridanus, Izar, Fornax, Gemini, Hercules and Jynarvis, ever closer to one another. It is expected that the coalition of the 7 stars will take place sometime on the 10th of May, 2016.

The birth of a new star will take place, and we have given it a new moniker, D2J.

Maplers from the mentioned 7 stars will be able to hail each other and form new friendships to take down current and future challenges of the game, such as the powerful end-game bosses.
Let’s this newly found unity forge the strength needed towards a new era.

FAQs

Here are some starter FAQs for players to understand more on what will be affected during the world merger:

Q: How will this affect duplicated character names?
A: There will not be an issue as character name duplication check is based by Gateway and not Worlds.

Q: How will this affect duplicated guild names?
A: Guilds with same names from different worlds will be renamed as accordingly after the World Merger. More information will be provided with regards to renaming of guilds for the affected worlds. This effect will also be applied to Alliance names.

Q: Will I be allowed to change my guild name if it shares the same name from another world?
A: We do have plans to allow guild name changes, however the requirements and info on eligibility for this will only be provided in the updates after the World merger has taken place.

Q: Will my rankings be affected?
A: Ranking based contents will now feature players/guilds from players from all the merged worlds. Current rankings will be readjusted accordingly, so the positions of some players will be affected.

Q: My characters were created in Jynarvis World before the merger, which World do I need to access them after the merger?
A: All characters created will remain in their respective worlds. There is no requirement of logging in to another world to access your currently created characters.

Q: Will items in my storage be required to be moved to my inventory?
A: There will be no requirement of moving any items from your storage, or even cash shop wardrobe. Items will remain as they are in your storage, based on Worlds that your character(s) were created in.
