[Completed] Urgent Server Check on 29th June 2015

Update as at 1807hrs (GMT +8)

Dear Maplers,

Please be informed that Ares and Artemis have resumed all services as at 1806hrs (GMT +8).

During the server check earlier this afternoon, we have removed 149 different types of items amounting to more than 2,000 quantity of equipment such as (but not limited to) Tyrant Armor, Fafnir Weapons and Titanium Hearts, and close to 500,000 pieces of various scrolls and seals that were illegally generated through a recent exploit. As of the recent Server Check today, please take note of the following:

Actions Taken With Regards to the Exploit

• All equipment and consumables illicitly generated through the exploit has been removed from players’ inventories and storage.
• Players who illegally generated or duplicated items via the exploit were permanently banned.

The removal of illegally obtained items will apply to all Maplers currently in possession of them regardless of how they were obtained. We are unable to refund players who may have purchased abnormal items with mesos or via illegal methods. We fully understand the possibility of legitimate players affected by this issue and we made a very hard decision to keep a strong stance against any actions that may endanger the game for all our players. We truly appreciate your support to keeping the game healthy.


Reimbursements For Today’s Urgent Server Check

• All cash item expiry duration has been extended by 6 hours
• 1 x Twin Coupon has been credited via the Reward Box (duration: 1 day, redemption period: 1 week)


Additional Reimbursement For Affected Users Who Were Released After Concluding Investigations

• 2x EXP Coupon (duration: 1 day, redemption period: 1 week)
• 1 x Twin Coupon (duration: 1 day, redemption period: 1 week)


Issues Still Currently Being Addressed

• Reimbursement for the Extended Downtime Server Check on 24th June 2015, 1600hrs
• Star Planet Attendance Event Extension
• Fever Time Slots for 27th & 28th June 2015, 2200hrs-2400hrs (GMT +8)
• Pet Random Box misinformation issue on 17th June 2015

Dear Maplers,

Please be informed that there will be a Server Check later from 1300hrs to 1700hrs (GMT +8).

Game services for both Ares & Artemis Gateway will NOT be available during the stipulated timing. Kindly log out before this period of time to avoid any game disruption.

In our effort to keep the game economy fair and stable, we will be removing all duped and illegally generated items from the game. If you are missing any items after the maintenance, this means that they were illegally created through an exploit which was discovered last week.

We appreciate your support as we continue to monitor and remove illegally generated and duplicated items to maintain the health of the in-game economy.
