Kanna Event Notes
Dear Maplers,
Special Event:
The following events will be activated on 04th December 2013, 0900hrs (+8 GMT).
1. [System Event] Kanna Launch Event (Event Date: 04/12/2013, 0900hrs – 25/12/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
2. [System Event] Maple Winter Preparations (Event Date: 04/12/2013, 0900hrs – 18/12/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
The following events will be activated on 11th December 2013, 0900hrs (+8 GMT).

The following events will be activated on 18th December 2013, 0900hrs (+8 GMT).

1. [System Event] Kanna Launch Event (Event Date: 04/12/2013, 0900hrs – 25/12/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
All newly created Kanna characters during the event will receive bonus equipment to support them during their journey!
Every 10 levels (level 10,20,30,40,50,60, and 70), a quest will be available via the Sengoku Event notifier
Note:
1. Each quest will only be valid for 10 levels and will be removed if it is not accepted before the next quest becomes available. (Example: Level 10 quest will be valid until level 19 , Level 20 quest will be valid until level 29, etc.)
2. [System Event] Maple Winter Preparations (Event Date: 04/12/2013, 0900hrs – 18/12/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Winter is coming in MapleSEA and various towns will need help in their preparations for the upcoming cold season.
During the event period, you will receive a series of quests according to your level.
Accept each quest to help the respective town collect the needed items and you will receive a reward for your help, which consists of some EXP and 1 Sengoku Coin.
Note:
1. All Preparation Quests can be repeated , but only 1 Preparation quest can be accepted and done at any given time.
2. Only a maximum of 20 Sengoku Coins can be earned each day
3. There are a total of 17 different quests with different level requirements, therefore players may receive different quests depending on their character’s level.
3. [System Event] Maple Winter Event (Event Date: 11/12/2013, 0900hrs – 25/12/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Everyday during the event, Cassandra will be seeking help to help her freeze the melted igloo that she has.
Accept the quest [Sengoku Coin] It was hard! Igloo! from the Event icon at the side and hold the item for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes has passed, give the item back to Cassandra and you will receive 1 Sengoku Coin for your efforts.
Note:
1. Cassandra’s quest can only be done up to 4 times a day per character.
2. Players are required to stay online until the quest is completed.
3. Quest must be forfeited and re-taken if the player disconnects or logs out from the game before it is completed.
Aside from helping Cassandra, monsters will be dropping the Snow Winter Box during the event, which can be opened to obtain various items such as Sengoku Coins , Personality Trait potions , Mysterious Love Letters , and the Polar Bear Chair
Note:
1. All Snow Winter Box must be opened before 25th December. No reimbursements will be provided for unused boxes after the event.
2. Polar Bear Chair will have a duration of 30 days.
4. [System Event] Miwok Rescue Event (Event Date: 11/12/2013, 0900hrs – 25/12/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Blackbull’s friends are in danger and he needs your help to rescue them!
Every day during the event, an icon will appear at the side of the screen to indicate that the Miwok Rescue event is ongoing.
Click on the icon and accept the quest “[Miwok Boy]Rescue the Miwok Boy!” and you will be teleported to a map to save as many Miwok children as you can within the time limit!
After the time limit is up, you will be teleported to a lobby where you will be required to click on NPC Blackbull to obtain EXP as well as a gift pouch, based on how many children you saved.
Different pouches will provide slightly different rewards when opened. Some items that can be obtained are 30 Mins x2 EXP buff , 30 Mins +15 WA/MA buff , Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scrolls , Special Potential Scrolls , 60% Chaos Scrolls , and Various Accessory WA / MA scrolls.
An Achievement log will also be provided to record your feats of bravery in the rescue mission. Once again, click on the icon and accept the quest “[Miwok Boy]Check the Miwok rescue log!” and you will be shown the following window:
As shown above, the “Shining Like the Sun!” achievement has been completed. The respective box icon has been lighted up , meaning that the prize can be taken. (Alternatively, the Miwok Event icon at the side will show the quest for this too.) Each time an achievement is completed, a Title and a Rescue Gift Box will be given.
Rescue Gift Box can be opened to obtain items such as Special Potential Scrolls , 60% Chaos Scroll , Miwok Boys’ Friend Chair , or Miwok Elders’ Brother Chair!
Titles given will last for 5 days , 7 days , or 15 days and will provide an increase to your Weapon and Magic Attack. Duration and stats will be different depending on which achievement was completed. The example shown below is the title provided from the “Shining Like the Sun!” Achievement which we have completed earlier.
After completing all 6 achievements, NPC “Well-met!” will award you with a special Brave Ribbon Pig’s Spirit Medal and La La La Miwok Boys Chair!
Note:
1. Brave Ribbon Pig’s Spirit Medal will last for 30 days.
2. Miwok Boys’ Friend Chair , Miwok Elders’ Brother Chair , and La La La Miwok Boys Chair are permanent.
5. [System Event] Action Hero Season 2 (Event Date: 18/12/2013, 0900hrs – 01/01/2014, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Besides assisting Blackbull in saving the cute Miwoks, he will also send out invitations every 20 minutes from 10am to 10pm for players to pit each other in Action Hero Season 2!
Similar to the previous Action Hero challenge during the Halloween Event, there will be a series of obstacles to overcome and the 1st person to reach the finish line will receive a Wind Gift Pouch, while the other player will receive a Earth Gift Pouch. If both players are unable to complete the obstacle course within the time limit given, it will be considered a tie and both players will receive the Moon Gift Pouch. These pouches are similar to the ones provided in the “Miwok Rescue Event” and will contain the same items.
Action Hero also has an achievement system for you to take note of your achievements!
An Achievement System is also included for Action Hero Season 2, which is almost identical to the Miwok Rescue Achievement System. Upon completion of each achievement, a Rescue Gift Box and a title will be given from the box icon or from the quest in the Miwok Icon at the side of the screen.
Titles given will last for 5 days , 7 days , or 15 days and will provide an increase to your Weapon and Magic Attack. Duration and stats will be different depending on which achievement was completed. The example shown below is the title provided from the “Accepting All Challenges!” Achievement.
After completing all 4 achievements, the medal I’m the Action Hero will be given.

6. [System Event] Christmas Event (Event Date: 18/12/2013, 0900hrs – 08/01/2014, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Merry Christmas to all Maplers! During these 3 weeks, there will be plenty of activities lined up for everyone to enjoy this festive season!
Start off by clicking on the Christmas Wreath icon at the side of the screen and accept the quest “[Christmas] Everywhere it’s Christmas” to receive a free set of Christmas costumes to wear!
Note:
1. Free Christmas Costumes provided from the “[Christmas] Everywhere it’s Christmas” quest will have a duration of 24 hours.
Next up, monsters around your level will drop Santa’s Shining Box, which can be opened to obtain various items such as Sengoku Coins , Rudolph’s Red Nose , Various Bandage scrolls for Rudolph’s Red Nose , Merry Christmas Buffs , as well as the Christmas Phantom Chair!
Note:
1. Santa’s Shining Box text description has a minor error and the box can be used up to 08/01/2014 , 0859hrs (+8 GMT).
2. All boxes must be used before the event ends and no reimbursements will be provided for unused boxes
3. Rudolph’s Red nose will come with random additional options and have a duration of 20 days.
4. Christmas Phantom Chair is permanent.
5. Level 1 and Level 2 Merry Christmas Buffs will not stack and will override the previous buff if applicable.
This Christmas, Rudolph has been the naughty one and has run away from Santa to hide in many places! Find the Delinquent Rudolph that spawns in many maps and defeat it to obtain Rudolph’s Shining Box
Rudolph’s Shining Box can be opened to obtain various items such as Sengoku Coins , Gold Nose Bandage , and the Penguin Carolers Chair!
Note:
1. Rudolph’s Shining Box text description has a minor error and the box can be used up to 08/01/2014 , 0859hrs (+8 GMT).
2. All boxes must be used before the event ends and no reimbursements will be provided for unused boxes
3. Penguin Carolers Chair is permanent.
Christmas Trees have popped up all around Maple World , but they look so plain and boring! Cassandra has come up with an idea to decorate the trees, as well as having fun in the process!
Speak to Cassandra or click on the Christmas Event icon at the side of the screen to accept the quest [Christmas]Decoration Christmas Trees. After doing so, simply hunt monsters around your level to obtain Mistletoe.
How to decorate the Christmas Tree:
1. Locate the Christmas Tree in most major towns in Maple World.
2. After obtaining enough Mistletoe, simply click on the Tree in order to transfer the items to it. You will need a total of 400 Mistletoe items to fully decorate the Christmas Tree!
3. After completely decoration the Tree, speak to Cassandra to claim your reward!
4. Many rewards are available from Cassandra but only 1 will be given at random each time the quest is completed. Possible rewards are : Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scroll , Special Potential Scroll , 60% Incredible Chaos Scroll , 50% Golden Hammer , 15% Armor for Attack Scroll , and 15% Armor for Magic Attack Scroll.
Note:
1. Decoration of the Christmas Tree can be done once per character each day during the event.
Christmas Stockings will also make an appearance in various Christmas boxes from this event, as well as from various monsters around Maple World. After obtaining the Christmas Stockings, simply drag the item or double click on it in order to place it in the Item Pot window.
After placing the Christmas Stockings in the Item Pot window, you will be required to fill it with Equipments or ETC items in order to raise its fullness until it goes to sleep. Players are advised to take extreme caution not to feed it with items that are precious!
Next, simply wait for 30minutes and the Christmas Stockings will turn into a Christmas Stockings Stuffed with Gifts. Double click on the stockings in the Item Pot window and it will be transferred to your inventory.
To obtain the item from the Christmas Stockings, double click on the Christmas Stockings Stuffed with Gifts item in your inventory to receive a random free gift! Possible rewards will include : Sengoku Coins , Rudolph’s Red Nose , Various Nose Bandage scrolls , Level 1 Christmas Buff , and 60% Chaos Scroll.
Note:
1. Take extreme caution when feeding the Christmas Stockings with Equipments or ETC items. No reimbursements will be provided for any items that have been fed to the Christmas Stockings.
2. “Christmas Stockings Stuffed with Gifts” item description has a minor error and the box can be used up to 08/01/2014 , 0859hrs (+8 GMT).
3. All stockings must be used before the event ends and no reimbursements will be provided for unused boxes
And Finally, to top off the Christmas Event , Happyville has made its return! Players can head to this map to have a nice fun-filled rest with wonderful Christmas music playing in the background!
Everyone can enter Happyville by simply clicking on the Dimensional Mirror , or by clicking on the Quick Move button at the side of the screen. Take caution regarding dropped items in the Happyville Map. Refer to the Notes below for clarification.
There will be an NPC called Rudi in Happyville selling all sorts of Christmas Ornaments, which you can use to decorate Christmas Trees! Don’t confuse this with Cassandra’s event though!
Bought your Christmas Ornaments but can’t find the trees? Speak to any of the 3 Snowman NPCs (Branch Snowman , Metal Bucket Snowman , Strawhat Snowman) and they will offer you the option to enter one of their 5 maps to Decoration Christmas Trees! Each Snowman has different maps so make sure that you speak to the correct Snowman if you want to find your friends for a fun-filled Tree decoration Session!
Note:
1. While inside any Tree-decorating rooms from the 3 Snowman NPCs, players may only drop and pick up their own items.
2. If any player exits the rooms or disconnects, any items that are dropped in the Tree-decorating rooms and not picked up will automatically return to the owner’s inventory.
3. The above 2 points DO NOT apply to the main Happyville map. Players are advised NOT to drop any items until they have entered any of the maps from the Snowman NPCs.
4. No reimbursements will be provided for items that are dropped and lost in the Happyville map.
