[Update] October Event Notes
Dear Maplers,
The following events will be activated on 2nd October 2013, 0900hrs (+8 GMT).

1. [System Event] Treasure Island (Event Date: 02/10/2013, 0900hrs – 28/10/2013, 2359hrs (+8 GMT)
Due to popular demand, Treasure Island is back!
An island filled with treasure was recently discovered accidentally by Gaga while he was treasure hunting. Unfortunately, Gaga has lost the key to get into this treasure island. Help Gaga find the key and who knows he may bring you along to this treasure island as a reward. But be warned, as the treasure island exist in another dimension, you will only have limited time inside as the key power is limited.
1. Required level 20 and above
2. Talk to Gaga in any town to begin
3. Collect 50 Stardust from monsters
4. Turn in the Stardusts to Gaga to receive a Shining Star.
5. Gaga can create up to 2 Shining Stars a day.
6. Use normal attacks in the map to break open the chest to receive rewards.
7. Time limit in the map is 60 seconds.
There is a total of more than 70 different kind of rewards in the treasure chest, including Necro and Reverse equipments.
2. [System Event] Spin the Wheel (Event Date: 03/10/2013, 0900hrs – 15/10/2013, 2359hrs (+8 GMT)
Mr Bunny and Mr Snail are back with round 2 of Spin the Wheel! Similarly, they will require your help to gather Fortune Wheel Coupons from all over Maple World
Collect those tickets from the monsters and you can exchange for a chance to spin the wheel with them. Aim to get better boxes for better rewards! Level 130 Imperial Set , Clean Slate Scroll 10% , Chaos Scroll 60% , Advanced Potential Scroll and many more items await you!

3. [System Event] Soul Weapon (Event Date: 03/10/2013, 0900hrs – 15/10/2013, 2359hrs (+8 GMT)
Unidentified Wizard has spent the past few weeks in many towns and is impressed with the motivation of Maplers in collecting the various boss souls. Thus, he has decided to host an event to assist Maplers in their mission to capture souls!
During the event, login to the game to receive a free Special Soul Enchanter , which provides a 100% chance to convert your weapon into a Soul Weapon!
Note 1: Daily Soul Enchanter will have a duration of 7 days and will expire if not used. However, if used on a weapon, the Soul Weapon effect will not expire unless it is removed manually by speaking to Unidentified Wizard.
Note 2: Each character can only receive the Special Soul Enchanter once during the event.
Murr Murr clones will also spawn in certain locations and specific timings in Maple World during the event. Defeat him to obtain Murr Murr’s Pocket, which contains many useful items such as Personality Trait Potions , Unidentified Love Letter , Special Soul Enchanter and Boss Soul Pieces!
Hint: Murr Murr needs his sleep just like us and will not appear while he is ‘sleeping’.
Murr Murr will also provide additional rewards for players who manage to obtain specific Boss Souls! Different prizes will be awarded for the completion of various souls!

Note 2: Each different type of item can only be claimed once.
(Eg. If Amazing Rock Spirit’s Soul is obtained and the character has received the Equip Enhancement Scroll reward, he/she will not be able to receive another Equip Enhancement Scroll on the same character even if Energetic Guard Ani’s Soul is obtained)
4. [System Event] Jewel Party (Event Date: 16/10/2013, 0900hrs – 13/11/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
The Moon Bunny Thief & his friends have invaded the Jewel Stash and stole all the Jewels! NPC Lux has decided to engage the help of Maplers to retrieve and catch the culprits!
Each day during the event, accept the quest “We provide Stepping-stone Pang Pang Coins” to receive 1 free Stepping Stone Pang Pang Coin.
Note: NPC Lux discovered that the Free Market Entrance in Channel 1 was too crowded and has decided to move to a more peaceful location. She can now be found in the Events Map instead.
Accept the quest “Keep your luck” from Cassandra and she will give you a Clover Leaf. Hold on to the Clover Leaf for 30minutes and Cassandra will reward you with a Stepping Stone Pang Pang Coin.
Note: “Keep your luck” quest can be completed a maximum of 5 times a day.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the quest “Monster Golden Bell Day” will be available to inform players of how to use the Monster Golden Bell.
Everyday during the event, monsters around your level will drop Monster Golden Bell. Collect these bells and use(double click) them to lure the Moon Bunny Thief’s friends to you.
Defeat them to obtain various ranks of Jewels (Rank A, B, C) , Jewel Craft equipment , Mysterious Jewel Boxes , and Scroll for Accessories!
Note 1: Golden Bells cannot be used in Towns, near portals, and maps that have no monsters or forbid the usage of teleportation skills.
Note 2: Monsters summoned from the Golden Bell will have the same monster level as the other monsters in the current map, players are advised to consider the monster level before summoning as loot penalty will apply as per normal. (11 levels below & 21 levels above your character level)
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, accept the quest “Project Jewel Pang Pang Admission Ticket Restoration” from Cassandra and she will help to exchange all Admission Ticket Pieces into Jewel Pang Pang Tickets. Admission Ticket Pieces can be found from monsters around your level.
After obtaining the Jewel Pang Pang Tickets from Cassandra, double click on the item and you will be brought to the Moon Bunny Thief’s room, where you will have 5 minutes to defeat as many Thieving Moon Bunnies to obtain treasure and Special Jewel Boxes.
Opening the Special Jewel Boxes will provide you with Mysterious/Special Jewel Boxes , Jewel Craft Belts/Rings , Jewel Craft Scrolls , as well as Stepping Stone Pang Pang Coins.
Note 1: Cassandra will only help to exchange tickets up to a maximum of 10 times each day while the quest is available.
Note 2: All Jewel Pang Pang Tickets are to be consumed before 12th November 2013 and no compensation will be provided for unused tickets.
All Stepping Stone Pang Pang Coins can be spent at NPC Lux’s shop, which can be found in the Events Map. NPC Lux has a wide range of items to sell but only has a small luggage to contain her items. As such, she will be refreshing her item list every couple of hours.
Various items can be bought from NPC Lux, which includes Season 2 weapons , Tempest Set items , Clean Slate Scroll 10% , Advanced Potential Scroll , and the Special Class helms such as Royal Elven Tiara , Devil Horns , Raven Persona , Mihile’s Silver Helm , Angel Wing Band , Kaivesurnet , and Regal Golden Hairband!
Note: Special Class helms can only be purchased once per character. A pop-up notification will appear in-game as well before purchasing the item.
5. [System Event] Lets Go Mesorangers! (Event Date: 16/10/2013, 0900hrs – 13/11/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Earth Defense Corps is under attack by Alien Grey’s huge space robot!
Fortunately, Dr. Kim has managed to complete the MesodizerX Machine in the nick of time and plans to use it against Alien Grey! All he needs now is a dedicated team of pilots for the MesodizerX & the Mesorangers are the perfect choice!
From the Event notification icon 
, accept the quest “You are the bravest of the brave in the earth! Meso Ranger!” in order to receive a briefing from Dr. Kim before embarking on the mission.
There will be a couple of ways to be selected to pilot the MesodizerX Machine:
After being selected to join the fight, you will be in the cockpit of the MesodizerX Machine. Here are some images and tips to be the best MesodizerX pilot!
1. Text notification to let the player know which color Mesoranger he/she is, and to select the difficulty.
2. Difficulty selection. Normal and Hard modes can only be unlocked after achieving a ‘S’ or ‘SS’ grade in the previous difficulty. If no mode is selected after a short while, the game will select Easy mode automatically by default.
3. Main playing area where the arrows will appear.
4. Boss’s HP bar and the time left to defeat it.
5. Special Move guage. This guage will fill up according to the amount of arrow keys that are successfully entered.
6. Arrow keys that will appear. The icons will go from right to left and Mesorangers will be required to press the corresponding arrows when they reach the black circle. Icons with a long bar attached to it means that the button has to be held down until the bar finishes.
At the end of the fight, a results screen will appear as follows:
Your rank will be shown on the results screen, together with the ranks of other Mesorangers that played together with you. If you have achieved a rank of ‘S’ or ‘SS’, the next difficulty level will be unlocked for you to try! And of course, higher difficulty levels will provide better rewards!
Prizes:
All Mesorangers will be awarded with Maple Leaf Coins and Marvel Rangers Boxes based on their performance for each time they participate in the fight, and bonus prizes based on whether or not they have defeated Alien Grey’s giant robot!

Items in the Marvel Rangers Box include Chaos Scroll , Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scroll , Basic Awakening Stamp , Unidentified Love Letter , and many other items!
Note: Each character can attempt the “Let’s Go Mesoranger” event for up to 10 times a day.
6. [System Event] Maple Halloween Event (Event Date: 24/10/2013, 0900hrs – 08/11/2013, 2359hrs (+8 GMT)
Halloween is here! It’s time to dress up in scary costumes and collect delicious candy! There will be a series of quests and activities for everyone to do as well.
All Halloween quests can be accepted from the Halloween Event notification icon 
at the left side of the window.
Accept the quest Halloween Costume Festival and Maple Administrator will randomly give you 1 out of the 6 Halloween Sets available each day!
Note 1: Costumes received from the Maple Admin will have a duration of 24hours.
Note 2: Costume must be worn in order to enter the Maple Castle
Note 3: If the item is thrown away, you will not be able to enter Maple Castle and can only receive another set on the next day.
Accept the quest “They will make fun of you if you don’t give a candy~!” from Cassandra and you will be tasked to hunt Halloween candy from monsters around your level.
After completing the quest, Cassandra will give you a Halloween Badge Box, which contains a Halloween Pumpkin Badge that will have random stats.
Note: Halloween Badge will have a duration of 1 month.
Each day of the event, accept the quest “Take My Candy” and you will given a free Kind Halloween Candy.
The candy can be obtained from various Halloween quests and can be given to players by right-clicking on them and selecting Give Halloween Candy. A confirmation popup will appear on the recipient’s window.
A Gift window will appear on both players as follows and the person giving the candy must first click on Give Candy.
After the gifter has clicked on Give Candy, the recipient will be able to click on Take Candy.
Once the gift has been given, the gifter will receive a Lv.1 Candy Angel Buff , while the recipient will receive a Friendly Halloween Candy, which can be consumed to grant the Lv.1 Candy Angel Buff or Lv.2 Candy Angel Buff. If you’re lucky, you might even get 2X Exp Rate , or 2X Drop Rate.
Twice every hour, an invitation will appear above your character. Accept the invitation to participate in the Hero’s Gauntlet!
In the Hero’s Gauntlet, you will pit your skills against another Mapler and attempt to overcome various obstacles to become the Maple Action Hero!
The 1st person to reach the finish line will receive a Halloween surprise box , and a Masked Ball Gift Box. Any player that does not manage to reach the finish line will receive either one of the 2 boxes.
During the event, monsters near your character level will drop Halloween Surprise Box too! These boxes can be opened to obtain various items such as Halloween Hats and Face Masks , 15-day Witch’s Broomstick Coupon , Halloween Mask Piece , Kind Halloween Candy , and Chef’s Recommended Dish.
Masked Ball Gift Box can be opened to obtain Eye accessories , Halloween Transformation Potions , Accessory Scrolls , Mysterious Halloween Candy , Halloween Mask Piece , and many more halloween items!
Upon collecting enough Halloween Mask Pieces , simple double click on the pieces to exchange them for a Venezia Dream eye accessory. 30 Pieces can be exchanged for a 10-day eye accessory, while 150 pieces can be exchanged for a permanent eye accessory!
Accept the quest [Maple Castle] Welcome to Maple Castle~! to enter the Maple Castle and begin a series of quests from Empress Cygnus , Phantom , Angelic Buster & Lania.
Note : Halloween Costume must be worn or you will be unable to enter the Maple Castle. Remember to take the free costume daily from the quest Halloween Costume Festival.
While undertaking the quests from the various NPCs, you will also stand a chance to gain more Halloween surprise boxes and Kind Halloween Candy.Upon completion of all quests, Empress Cygnus will recognize your efforts and reward you with the Maple Castle VIP medal.
Important Note: All boxes obtained from the Halloween event must be used before the end of the event on 8th November 2013. No reimbursement will be provided for unused boxes after the event has concluded.
7. [System Event] Help A Snipe (Event Date: 30/10/2013, 0900hrs – 13/11/2013, 2359hrs (+8 GMT)
Snipe miss flying with his friends and required your help to bring him back into the skies again. In order to fly again, Snipe will need to be at the highest end of the Jump Stand. However, the path to bring Snipe back to the Jump Stand are covered by thorn bushes. He needs your help to drop him down at the top of the Jump Stand before he can fly again. However, this time round, it is slightly different with more challenges!
There are 3 different type of Jump Quest maps, but user can’t choose the map.
They will be just moved to each map in order of arrival.
* If you don’t complete the quest in normal way, you can be kicked out from the map.
Map 1 : Thornbush Leading to Jump Stand
Hint: There may be invisible Jump Stands around. Explore the map and you will find them!
Map 2 : Playground of Lupin Leading to Jump Stand
Map 3 : Jumping Board Leading to Jump Stand
• Activate “Help a Snipe” quest from NPC Gaga
• Snipe will request your help to take him up to the Jump Stand within a certain time duration.
• You will have to drop the ETC item “A Lost Snipe” onto the top of the Jump Stand.
• Once succeeded, Snipe will appear on the top of the Jump Stand.
• Talk to The Lost Snipe and complete the quest.
