Union Arena Highlight Notes (v199)

Event Duration: 25th November 2020, 1000hrs ~ 19th January 2021, 2359hrs
Requirement:

6 Characters that are level 101+ & completed 4th job (Note: Zen cannot participate)

Zero characters that are level 140+ & completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest

Maple Union Novice Level 1 & above

How to Start:

Click on the [Union Arena] Union Arena Season 1 Quest via the Star Notifier

Can only participate between 1000hrs ~ 0159hrs the next day

Union Arena will be closed from participation daily between 0200hrs ~ 0959hrs

Getting Ready for Union Arena

The event is a cross-world event and all 4 worlds (Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia & Draco) will be included in the rankings

Upon accepting the starting quest, players will be teleported to the Union Arena Waiting Room

Speak to NPC Ms. Appropriation in the Waiting Room to start the event

Players will be able to select 6 Union Characters to be fighters in the Arena

  ➢ Only characters who have completed 4th job advancement and Level 140+ Zero characters can participate in the event
  ➢ All fighters’ combat power is based on their Level, Star Force & Arcane Force

After picking the fighters, players will match make with other characters in the event

If players would leave the queue after being successfully match maked, there will be a 10 minute cooldown penalty

There are also Daily Victory & Cumulative Victory Missions!

  ➢ Complete the Daily Mission by achieving 1 Win per day!
  ➢ Cumulative Victory Mission records the total number of wins throughout the event period! Depending on the number of wins, rewards obtained will differ

The Battle!

The first player to win 3 out of 5 rounds will win the match!

At the beginning of each round, players will be able to select which fighter to participate.

  ➢ If the player does not select a fighter before the countdown ends, 1 will be automatically selected for him/her

In each round, 3 types of supporters will be randomly assigned to fight alongside with the selected fighters

The battle will be automated and victory or defeat will be determined by the fighters combat power and other effects active on the battlefield

Depending on certain Job/Class Elements & Supporter Effects, players can tilt the battle to their favor!

Synergy Effects

There are 4 main elements attributed to specific Job Classes:

  ➢ Fire
  ➢ Water
  ➢ Earth
  ➢ Wind

Depending on the supporters on the battlefield, they may synergize with the job class and/or the job/class elements to provide an advantage in the battle

Players may hover over the icon on the upper right hand corner to view their job/class element

There are 3 types of supports:

  ➢ Single Attack Supporters
  ➢ Ranged Supporters
  ➢ Healing Supporters

Single Attack Supporters will attack 1 enemy character. When the placed fighter matches their faction, the following synergy effects will be activated:
  ➢ Athena Pierce: When an Explorer is deployed, Athena Pierce's damage +100%
  ➢ Grendel: When an Explorer is deployed, Grendel will be invincible for 10s when the battle begins
  ➢ Claudine: When a Resistance is deployed, all ally supporters' HP +30%
  ➢ Checky: When a Resistance is deployed, it will transform into Checkytron (Damage, HP +50%)
  ➢ Cygnus: When a Cygnus Knight is deployed, the White Spear attack will be activated once when the battle begins (250% damage)
  ➢ Nineheart: When a Cygnus Knight is deployed, there will be a certain chance to stun the enemy (20% chance to stun for 2s)
  ➢ Feud: When a Hero is deployed, it will -50% damage of all enemy supporters
  ➢ Moonbeam: When a Hero is deployed, it will deal additional continuous damage (50% every second for 5s)
  ➢ Edea: When a Nova/Flora/Anima is deployed, it will attack all enemies at regular intervals (120% damage every 4s)
  ➢ Fenella: When a Nova/Flora/Anima is deployed, a shield will be given to fighters at the start of the battle (Nullify 5 times)
  ➢ Mastema: When a Sengoku/Demon/Zero/Kinesis is deployed, it will reduce damage received by 50%
  ➢ Pietta: When a Sengoku/Demon/Zero/Kinesis is deployed, Pietta will be able to revive once during battle

Ranged Supporters attacks 3 enemy characters. When the placed fighter matches their job, the following synergy effects will be activated:

  ➢ Catapult: When a Warrior is deployed, damage dealt +30%
  ➢ Tower of Mana: When a Magician is deployed, no. of targets will +1
  ➢ Ballista: When a Bowman is deployed, attack speed will +30%
  ➢ Shuriken Thrower: When a Thief is deployed, it will deal additional continuous damage (10% every second for 5s)
  ➢ Cannon: When a Pirate is deployed, HP will x2

Healing Supporters heals 1 ally character. When the placed fighter matches their attribute, the following synergy effects will be activated:

  ➢ Fire Priest: When a Fire attribute is deployed, recovery rate will be doubled
  ➢ Water Priest: When a Water attribute is deployed, no. of heal targets +1
  ➢ Wind Priest: When a Wind attribute is deployed, recovery speed will be doubled
  ➢ Earth Priest: When an Earth attribute is deployed, HP will will be doubled

Union Arena Rankings

Keep track of your progress and rank via the Ranking Board!

Rankings registered are based on the users Union Arena score and will be registered with the name of the character used to participate in the Union Arena

Rankings will be updated between 0200hrs ~ 0959hrs everyday

If the ranking score is tied, the player to record that score first will be placed higher in the ranking board

Daily Victory Mission Rewards

Players can receive the rewards via [Union Arena] Daily Victory Mission quest

Daily Victory Mission rewards can be received once per day per world:
