It’s MapleStorySEA’s 15th anniversary! Explore the exciting Newtro-retro themed dimension of Newtro Kingdom, become the hero and most importantly save the Princess! There are no shortage of events and mini-games for all to enjoy and varied collectibles to collect!

Newtro Power & Coins

The Newtro Gauge will be used for players to keep track of their Newtro Power that can be earned from various events within the Newtro Kingdom.

Newtro Power will automatically be converted into Newtro Coins which can be used in the Newtro Coin Shop to purchase goodies.

Every 100 Newtro Power is 1 Newtro Coin. (100:1)

The daily limit for Newtro Power varies depending on the player’s Honorary Warrior Grade.

Legends has it that a warrior from another world will unlock the power of the legendary weapons sealed long ago by the rulers of the Newtro Kingdom. Bring hope and peace to the Newtro Kingdom!

Speak to NPC Count Stan in Newtro Kingdom to manage your Warrior Grade.

There are 5 Warrior Grades available:
   ➢ 1-Star Warrior
   ➢ 2-Star Warrior
   ➢ 3-Star Warrior
   ➢ 4-Star Warrior
   ➢ 5-Star Warrior

Each time the Warrior Grade is increased, there will be higher Newtro Power limits, bonus stats and Newtro goodies!

Warrior Grade will be shared with all characters in the same world.

Like the Greek poets in the past, let us venture on our own odyssey and write our names into the legends!

You may check your progress at any time by clicking on the Odyssey Icon in the Star Notifier.

Upon completing each mission, you can receive 100 Newtro Coins from NPC Count Stan.
   ➢ This excludes completing any Odyssey Missions relating to the Honorary Warrior Grade.

The progress of the Odyssey Missions are shared among all characters within the same world.

Spend Newtro Coins obtained from various events in the Newtro Kingdom in the Coin Shop!

Items’ duration vary and will be stated in the item description.

Item tradability and restrictions are as stated in the item description.

Items on sale in the Coin Shop may have different purchase limits depending on the item. Limits may be applied on a daily basis, quantity per character, or a limited quantity of purchases per world. Players are advised to check the limits of the items they wish to purchase and purchase them on the correct character.

Coin Shop will be accessible for 5 days after the event has ended via the NPC located in Henesys, Leafre or Nameless Village.

Different parts of the shop will be unlocked upon ranking up the Honorary Warrior Grade.

Roller Skating Chairs can be purchased from the Coin Shop with Mesos.
   ➢ Possession of a Roller Skating Chair is required to enter Newtro Roller Skating Rink.

Can't get out and about? Instead of dropping by the local tavern in Newtro Kingdom, why not just party your socks off in the Newtro Roller Skating Rink while earning some Newtro Power with sweet old-school beats while at it?

Earn Newtro Power simply by sitting on the Newtro Roller Skating Chairs whilst in the event map!

The higher rank of the Roller Skating Chair used, the more Newtro Power you will receive.

If your Warrior Grade daily Newtro Power limit is reached, you will not be able to receive any Newtro Power.

Newtro Sauna

This is cool & hot at the same time. EXP & Star Force benefits? Let me in! LET ME INNNN!!!! NOWWWWWWWWWW!

Players must be at least level 105+ in order to receive EXP in the event map.

Depending on which platform you stand on, you will receive different Trait EXP.

Players may only receive EXP for 8 hours per day & 500 Trait EXP per Trait.
   ➢ If the Trait is at its max level, you will not receive any Trait EXP for that Trait.

Enjoy Star Force Enhancement benefits while Star Forcing your gear within the Newtro Sauna.
   ➢ It will also be protected from destruction when Star Forcing up to 15 Stars.
   ➢ However, this does not include Superior Equips such as Tyrant Belts, Gloves etc.

Demon King Pixrog

Boss Battle~!

Warriors! There may come a day where all of Newtro will lose hope but it is not this day! This day we fight! Hold the Demon King Pixrog and his forces back! FOR THE NEWTRO KINGDOM!!!

Players may enter the event map via the portal on the far right of the Newtro Kingdom.

Earn points by dealing as much damage as possible within the 2 minute time limit.

The session will end when Demon King Pixrog is defeated or if the time runs out.

You may try again as long as you have not claimed the reward by the end of the session.

You may only receive the rewards once per day per world.

Newtro Coins obtained from this event will not count towards the daily Newtro Power limit.

Monster Busters

The Monsterbusters are recruiting professional hunters!

Who ya gonn' call? Monsters Busters! Help fend off the wild monsters that threaten the safety of the Newtro Kingdom! It also makes good practice to gather Newtro Power to unseal the next legendary piece of equipment!

Upon completion of [Newtro Time] Monster Busters, the “Monster Buster” skill will be accessible under your Beginner Skills tab. The quest can be found in the Star Notifier or via Priestess Cassandra.

The Monster Buster skill will be automatically activated upon entering a Level Ranged Hunting Map and cannot be activated in the following conditions:
   ➢ Upon entering a Hunting Map that does not have Level Ranged Monsters.
   ➢ When accessing certain Theme Dungeons.
   ➢ When special field events are activated.
   ➢ Exceeded the Daily Newtro Power Acquisition Limit.

Different types of Monster Buster's Special Stages can be activated at random, and here's a small tip left behind by the veteran hunters in the scene:
   ➢ Newtro Iron Hog
   ↪ Strength isn't the only way out for all adventurers. Mobility is key.
   ➢ Newtro Mushmom
   ↪ Calmly breathe, get your feets off the ground.. at the right time.
   ➢ Newtro Jr. Necki
   ↪ If your accuracy is bad, get Spectrum Glas.. Okay never-mind, just skill again.

Completion of these missions will grant you with some Newtro Power~

Run! Silver Mane!

Pixelated Silver Mane? LET ME HAVE IT!

Cheers luv! The calvary is... Ok nope.. It's the Silver Manes! Ride to victory!

Upon completion of [Newtro Time] Run! Silver Mane!, the “Summon Silver Mane” skill will be accessible under your Beginner Skills tab. The quest can be found in the Star Notifier or via Priestess Cassandra.

The Summon Silver Mane skill will be automatically activated upon entering a Level Ranged Hunting Map and cannot be activated in the following conditions:
   ➢ Upon entering a Hunting Map that does not have Level Ranged Monsters.
   ➢ When accessing certain Theme Dungeons.
   ➢ When special field events are activated.
   ➢ Exceeded the Daily Newtro Power Acquisition Limit.

Silver Mane Energy is stored and indicated in 3 different colors. When fully charged, you will be able to summon Silver Mane and ride it.

You will get Newtro Power by chance when hunting Level Ranged Monsters while Silver Mane is summoned. A buff effect of EXP Gain +200% will also be activated.

What happens when you combine Math & Hunting... You get Papyrus! (Well not really)..

Upon completion of [Newtro Time] Lucky Papyrus, the “Lucky Papyrus” skill will be accessible under your Beginner Skills tab. The quest can be found in the Star Notifier or via Priestess Cassandra.

The Lucky Papyrus skill will be automatically activated upon entering a Level Ranged Hunting Map and cannot be activated in the following conditions:
   ➢ Upon entering a Hunting Map that does not have Level Ranged Monsters.
   ➢ When accessing certain Theme Dungeons.
   ➢ When special field events are activated.
   ➢ Exceeded the Daily Newtro Power Acquisition Limit.

You may get 20 Newtro Power upon killing Level Ranged Monsters while having the Lucky Papyrus skill activated.

Specific numbers will be required to complete the formula. Upon completion of the formula, you will be provided with some EXP and 1,500 Newtro Power.

Newtro Mini-Games

It's not all fun and games.. It's training!

How to Start: Enter the mini-game portals located in the Newtro Kingdom event map

Let’s get ready for the battle with the Demon King Pixrog! Enjoy mock training classic & new mini-games throughout the event!

Newtro Monster Pyramid

Guys let me throw this last piece of Pepe please… WAIT WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!
Event Duration: 8th April 2020 (After Patch) ~ 19th May 2020, 2359hrs

Newtro Monster Pyramid will start out with an empty Pyramid playboard and each player will be provided with a few monster blocks. However… only 1 can command the Pixrog.

All monster blocks must start from the lowest row of blocks and can only be placed on top of the same type of block. This does not apply to the Pixrog.

Best of three rounds, players with the most monster blocks played will win.

Players will be automatically penalized if you allow autoplay for more than 3 times.

If the daily Newtro Power limit is reached, you will not earn anymore Newtro Power from the event. However, you will still be able to participate in the event.

Newtro Extreme Rush

Haha.. Hog goes Brrr..
Event Duration: 8th April 2020 (After Patch) ~ 19th May 2020, 2359hrs

There will be 3 paths the Hog can go on. (Left, Middle & Right)

By tapping on the left & right arrow keys, the hog will move towards that direction.

Avoid the cones!

The further the distance traveled, the more Newtro Power is collected.

The Hog will run faster as it progresses!

If the daily Newtro Power limit is reached, you will not earn anymore Newtro Power from the event. However, you will still be able to participate in the event.

Newtro Crowded Watchtower

How far can you go on your Perfect Streak? Mine’s 5..
Event Duration: 8th April 2020 (After Patch) ~ 19th May 2020, 2359hrs

Rules are simple, stack as many floors as you can up to 100 maximum floors.

Use the “SPACEBAR” key to place the floors. Fail to land any part of the next platform will result in completion of Crowded Watchtower session or completely run out of time.

Newtro Power will be provided each time you successfully stack a floor.

If the daily Newtro Power limit is reached, you will not earn anymore Newtro Power from the event. However, you will still be able to participate in the event.

Newtro Reversi

Pixelated flippity flips!
Event Duration: 22nd April 2020, 1000hrs ~ 19th May 2020, 2359hrs

Both players will play as either the Hero or the Pixrog.

The objective of the game is to either reduce the opponents HP to 0 or to have a higher HP than the opponent at the end of the timer, or when the board is full.

A piece can only be played on the board if the player has at least 1 piece between the opponent’s and their own piece.

Should a move not be made before the timer runs out, a piece will be played automatically at random.

Should any player miss too many turns, the session will be forfeited and the non-active player will not have any Newtro Power awarded.

Should players be removed from a match due to inactivity or intentionally leaving the match, they will be restricted from joining additional matches for a set amount of time.

Earn Newtro Power by playing! Points obtained will be based on time elapsed during the mini game and your final position. So take your time!

If the daily Newtro Power limit is reached, you will not earn anymore Newtro Power from the event. However, you will still be able to participate in the event.

Newtro Sky

Spread your wings and flyyyy!
Event Duration: 22nd April 2020, 1000hrs ~ 19th May 2020, 2359hrs

Double tap your arrow keys to perform a dash to speed up your character for lift off!

Jump off the tower and Glide away~

Hit the boosters at the bottom of the map for a quick boost!

Obtain Sky Points & Newtro Power based on the distance traveled.
   ➢ Along the way, you may collect items that either gives you Newtro Power or gives you a small boost while gliding through the air.
   ➢ Accumulate as much Sky Points as you can and level up your parachute to reach new heights!
   ➢ There is no limit to the number of Sky Points you can earn in a day.
   ➢ If the daily Newtro Power limit is reached, you will still be able to participate in the event for Sky Points but you will not earn any Newtro Power.

Newtro Psychic Game of Yut

Please don’t reset me...
Event Duration: 6th May 2020, 1000hrs ~ 19th May 2020, 2359hrs

Get all 4 of your pieces to the goal to win the game. Each player will start with 2 skills.

Players will be automatically penalized if you allow autoplay for more than 3 times.

If the daily Newtro Power limit is reached, you will not earn anymore Newtro Power from the event. However, you will still be able to participate in the event.

Newtro One Card

Skip intensifies
Event Duration: 6th May 2020, 1000hrs ~ 19th May 2020, 2359hrs

Each player will start with 7 cards. Choose a card to play when it’s your turn.

All playable cards will be highlighted.

If you have successfully played all your cards, you will win. However, if you have more than 17 cards in your hand… you will lose immediately.

Players will be automatically penalized if you allow autoplay for more than 3 times.

If the daily Newtro Power limit is reached, you will not earn anymore Newtro Power from the event. However, you will still be able to participate in the event.

How to Start: After getting into Newtro Kingdom, simply click on the invitation over your character’s head.


Invitational games are back! Enjoy classic games such as Bingo, Rock-Paper-Scissors and Ola Ola in all their pixelated glory! Gather your friends and compete with Maplers for the top spot!

Newtro Bingo: Double Board Edition

Numbers! NUMBERS EVERYWHERE!!!
Event Duration: 8th April 2020 (After Patch) ~ 21st April 2020, 2359hrs
Invitation Period: Every hour & 30th Minute between 1000hrs ~ 2330hrs

B-I-N-G-O is back once again but with 2 boards!

Knight Kemdi will draw numbers from his magical box of bingo balls twice as fast as usual!

Click the numbers on your given board should they be called by Kemdi.

Attain a straight line of 5 numbers either horizontally, vertically or diagonally, to BINGO!

The game will end when 50 numbers have been drawn or there are 30 BINGOs.

3 Bingo Rounds will be played every invitation.

Earn rewards every time you finish a Bingo Round!
   ➢ 1st Place: 5,000 Newtro Power
   ➢ 2nd ~ 5th Place: 4,000 Newtro Power

It’s another classic Ola Ola game!

Race with others to the top while avoiding the tricks and obstacles between you and the finish line!

Players will only have 5 minutes to clear the entire course.

The session will end if 30 players have made it to the top or if the timer runs out.

Only 1 round will be played every invitation.

Earn rewards depending on your placing among other players:
   ➢ 1st Place: 10,000 Newtro Power
   ➢ 2nd ~ 5th Place: 7,500 Newtro Power
   ➢ 6th ~ 10th Place: 6,000 Newtro Power

Newtro Coconut Season

Coconut season! The team based mini-game that everyone is excited for!

Upon joining the event, players will be randomly put into the red or blue team.

Collect as many coconuts as you can and avoid those pesky crabs!

Golden Coconuts give more points!

Teams will only have 3 minutes to collect as many coconuts as they can.

Players will not be able to use their own skills during the match and will only be able to use the special event skills.

Only 1 round will be played every invitation.

While the objective is to collect more coconuts than the other team, rewards will also be ranked within the winning & losing team:

Event Duration: 6th May 2020, 1000hrs ~ 19th May 2020, 2345hrs
Invitation Period: Every 15th & 45th Minute of every hour between 1000hrs ~ 2345hrs

It’s Rock-Paper-Scissors! You know what to do!

There are 6 levels.

Every round you win will move you up a level. Losing drops you to a lower level!

You cannot advance past the 6th level or drop below the 1st level.

Failure to cast your hand within the time limit will lead to a loss.

9 Matches x 3 rounds will be played every invitation.

Earn rewards based on the floor achieved at the end of the 9 matches!
