NEO Growth Revamp

NEO Beginnings for your journey ahead!

Level cap has been increased to 300.

Required EXP for Lv 210 ~ 249 has been reduced.

EXP penalty adjustment due to level difference with monsters +10% to +20% of additional experience when defeating level ±1 monsters.

Hyper Stats skill points received has been adjusted to include the newly increased levels.

V Slot has been added for level 280 to 300.

Additional Achievements added for every 5 levels achieved from level 280 to 300.

Changed death penalty reduction effect for Ambition (Trait), Fearless (Guild Skill) and Undead Monster Effect (Monster Life).

Buff Freezers are now Permanent items when purchased in the Cash Shop. It is still a One-time use item.

Meso Limit holding limit has been expanded from 29,999,999,999 billion (30 billion) -> 99,999,999,999 Mesos (100 billion). This new limit is applicable to Storage as well.

Maximum Damage shown expanded from 10 billion → 150 billion

Death penalty has been completely reorganized.
➢ Apply debuff for 80% reduction in EXP gain + 80% reduction in drop rate for a certain period of time.
➢ The formula for applying EXP is multiplied with the final result after all EXP buff/debuff related calculations have been completed.
➢ The drop rate reduction formula will be applied to the reduced probability first, and if it fails, the drop will fail.
➢ Debuff duration decreases only when connected to the game.
➢ Buff duration and skill reset effect not applied.
➢ Time will decrease normally even in hubs and other channels.
➢ Debuff will be updated based on the current level if you were to die again during the debuff duration.

Safety Charm function has been changed.
➢ Immediately removes the current death penalty debuff when used.
➢ Unable to use if the remaining debuff time is less than 10 seconds.
➢ Changed to a One-time use consumable item.
➢ Permanent Safety Charm (Red color version) will be removed from the game effective from NEO update (click here for more information).

These bosses now drop Arcaneshade related equipment.

Synopsis
After the borders of the world disappear, new adversaries start to appear. Explore a new region beyond the Lost Seas, the City of Gods, Cernium!

Basic Information

City of Gods, Cernium is split into 4 further sub regions as follows:
➢ Rocky Beach
➢ West/East Castle Walls
➢ Palace Main Hall
➢ Royal Library

Explore an untouched sacred land and find out about the history of the Ancient Gods!

As the story quests are unlocked, more regions will be available for your exploration.

All Cernium fields in this region require 50 Authentic Force to deal full damage.

Synopsis
The Flora Armies have invaded the City of Gods, along with a new adversary alongside an ominous cloud. Will the Savior and Chosen One wield the Holy Sword to protect Cernium from further destruction?

Basic Information

Fallen Cernium is split into 3 further sub regions as follows:
➢ Battle-ravaged West/East Castle Walls
➢ Broken Palace Main Hall
➢ Burning Royal Library

Protect Cernium from the impending invasion by the Flora Army!

As the story quests are unlocked, more regions will be available for your exploration.

All Fallen Cernium fields in this region require 70/100 Authentic Force to deal full damage.

[New System] Authentic Force

In simple words, these are Arcane Symbols for level 260 and above characters that have completed Cernium story.

After completing [Cernium (Before)] Cernium Becomes One, you can accept the quest on the Lightbulb Quest Notifier icon [Essential] Another Power: Authentic Force.

After completing You’ll receive Authentic Symbol: Cernium x1, and daily quests to obtain Authentic Symbols will be unlocked.

Similarly like Arcane Symbols, you can enhance Authentic Symbols to the next level by combining Authentic Symbols of the same kind.

You can access the Authentic Equipment UI via a button “Authentic” located at the bottom right of the Equipment Inventory window.

Daily Quest can be unlocked with the completion of respective towns story questlines.
➢ Select 1 out of 6 quests to complete, and you’ll receive 5 Authentic Symbols respectively.
➢ Cernium: NPC Priest of Flames (Located on the right side of Cernium Square), [Daily Quest] Investigate Cernium.
➢ Fallen Cernium: NPC Priest of Dawn (Located on the left side of Broken Cernium Square), [Daily Quest] Nerota’s Suggestion.

Arcane River Improvements

After completing Reverse City quests, you can receive up to 16 Arcane Symbol: Road to Extinction through Road to Extinction daily quests.

After completing Yum Yum Island quests, you can receive up to 8 Arcane Symbol: Chew Chew Island through Chew Chew Island daily quests.

Monster Park Efficiency Adjustment

Road to Extinction: Clear EXP has been increased.

Chew Chew Island: The 5th and 6th stage map layout has been modified to boost hunting efficiency.

Dream City Lacheln: New monster park dungeon for Lacheln has been added.

Voice of Maplers Project

It's still not that hard really.

You will now be immediately moved to the Boss entrance waiting map.

Skill tooltips have been widened.

The Core Lock function has been added and you can unlock it by entering your secondary password.

Locked Cores cannot be disassembled or used as enhancement material.

The border colour of selected Cores has been changed to make them easier to distinguish from newly acquired Cores.

The ‘Select All’ function has been added in the Disassemble mode, so you can select all Cores at once (Locked Cores and equipped Cores are excluded).

In Disassemble mode, when you click on an area outside the Core Box while you are selecting cores, all selected cores will no longer be deselected.

In Disassemble mode, if you select more than a certain number of cores at a time, a list of cores will now be displayed.

Meso Market trades will now be shared among all characters in the same world.

You can check the details of transactions in progress with other characters in the same world, as well as cancel or receive them.

For transactions that are registered before maintenance, Mesos or Maple Points will be paid in bulk to the registered character.

The number of daily registrations for Mesos Market has been increased from 5 to 20.

Star Force and Spell Trace enhancement animation has been reduced.

Explorer's Emblem quest has been simplified.
➢ You can now receive Explorer's Emblem upon hitting Level 70 and 100 respectively. The quest can be accepted via the Lightbulb icon on the left.

Trade properties of certain secondary weapon has been changed to be tradable.
➢ Mechanic, Demon Avenger, Demon Slayer, and Mihile’s secondary weapons have been changed from untradeable to tradeable.
➢ The secondary weapons received at 1st/2nd/3rd job advancement can now have potential. You can now unequip them from the equipment window. They will no longer be removed when you receive a higher level equipment. In addition, you can now purchase these secondary weapons from the merchant.

➢ Union Preset Coupons have been changed so that each Union Preset can be extended up to 180 days from the time they were used.
➢ Union presets that were open before May 26 2021, 1000hrs will be extended to August 24 2021, 1000hrs.

Removal of Permanent Safety Charm

With the changes in the function and mechanics of Safety Charm in NEO patch, the Permanent Safety Charm will be completely removed from the game. All players who currently own Permanent Safety Charms will be compensated with 15,000 Maple Points and 300 One-Time Consumable Safety Charms for every permanent safety charm previously owned. These items may be claimed from the Reward Box icon at the left side of your screen from 26th May 2021 (after server patch) until 2359hrs (GMT+8), 29th June 2021.
