My Home

Welcome to Querencia! Special price, special view? This is interesting!

Level Requirement: Level 200+
How to Start: Accept [My Home] House? House! My house! quest through Quest Light Bulb Notifier on top of character's head upon reaching the required level.


What is My Home?

Your very own personal home space in Maple World!

Collect various building elements and furniture items to decorate your own house.

Visit your friends' or a strangers' house, you may also invite others to your home!

Various benefits can be obtained as you build your relationship with your Caretaker.

Certain furniture provide special functions when clicked, such as sitting down or changing BGM.

Entering My Home

Upon accepting the quest [My Home] House? House! My house!, you may return to My Home through the Menu or Character Info UI.

To customize your home, you can edit it through the My Home UI.

The UI contains multiple features which consist:
  ➢ Build (Construction)
  ➢ Furniture
  ➢ Place Furniture
  ➢ Community
  ➢ Random Visit
  ➢ Caretaker
  ➢ Settings

Quest

Well well well, new adventure for your new home.

Synopsis
If it's too good, it's got to be a scam? You thought that could never happen to you in MapleStory, didn't you? Unfortunately when you came across a flyer advertising a whole new house available for a small sum of 500,000 Mesos, you thought that you had nothing to lose, and set foot in Querencia. Settling in to your cozy new mushroom hut, building your own home with the help of awesome neighbors, a new place you can call home has been unlocked. Despite your initial misfortune, you will be able to meet many new friends and neighbors: twin siblings who await their adventurer parents' return, an inexperienced but passionate carpenter, the young daughter of a baker who longs for a hero, a fat cat (meow), and an architect who cares for them all.

Let's all enjoy a pleasant and peaceful Querencia, a place so unique in Maple World that you call home. Embark on your journey home today!

Furniture

A home is not complete without the furniture isn't it?

Level Requirement: Level 200+

Features & Guides

Decorating your home can be selected through My Home UI by clicking the icon.

You may choose your desired furniture to decorate your home.

Furniture can be added as Favourites for easier finding.

After selecting your furniture, click Place to place the furniture in your home.

Furniture can be arranged around your home as long as the furniture are placed within the available grids.

To position the furniture (Left or Right), you may click the icon.

To return the furniture to Storage, you may click the icon.

Furniture placed may have their own special functions. Simply click the furniture to see the magic!




Note:
  ➢ To exit the Placing function, you may click the X button in the UI and the arrangement will save automatically.
  ➢ Some furniture's functionality requires the character to be within a certain distance upon interacting with it to function.
  ➢ Not all furniture have special function properties.
  ➢ Furniture Slot Coupon can be purchased through My Home Coin Shop or Cash Shop.

Shopping

Of course who doesn't like to shop for new furniture!

Features & Guides

Shopping for furniture can be done when accessing the My Home UI by clicking on the icon.

Select the Shopping tab and select your desired style category on the the left side of the UI.

Shopping for furniture takes time! Once you have decided on a furniture style, click on the clipboard (right side of the UI) to begin shopping.

Once the countdown for Shopping has ended, a notification will pop-up on the Menu UI.

Open the Shopping UI and click the completed clipboard to receive furniture item.

Open the Item Inventory and double click the furniture to register it in your Home inventory.



Note:
  ➢ You cannot purchase other furniture while there is an ongoing Shopping request.
  ➢ Different furniture styles will have different time requirements.
  ➢ Furniture rewards will be randomly selected from the list of displayed furniture.
  ➢ You can also get furniture items through Miranda's Flea Market.
  ➢ For every Shopping completed with item received, there is a chance to receive additional 1 My Home Coin depending on your Caretaker's Aesthetic Sense attribute stats. (Updated 28 Dec, 1800hrs)

Collection

It's not hoarding if you can flex it!

Features & Guides

To check your Collections, click on the icon in the My Home UI.

Furniture you have collected will be reflected in the Collection list.

The left side of the UI consists of various furniture style categories.

The right side of the UI displays information regarding the selected furniture, including required space for placement in your house.

Unlock Collection rewards by collecting a certain amount of furniture within the same category.



Note:
  ➢ Rewards consist of either Construction Packages, Special Furniture or Construction Expansion.
  ➢ Rewards can be collected by clicking the reward box within the UI.
  ➢ Not all style categories consist Collection Rewards. Kindly check each category if it offers any Collection Rewards.

Construction

Features & Guides

Building and designing your home can be done by clicking the icon in the My Home UI.

In the Construction UI, you are presented with various options to customize the architecture of your house, which include:
  ➢ Architecture Elements
  ➢ Blueprint Structure
  ➢ Architecture Style
  ➢ Blueprint Expansion

Architecture Elements allow you to customize your home's roof, wall, flooring, and window designs, and can be found in the middle of the Construction UI.

Blueprint Structure allows you to customize the type of Staircase designs that will be used, available by selecting the tabs at the middle top section of the Construction UI.

Architecture Style allows you to customize the overall theme of your home on the left side of the UI depending on what has been unlocked.

Blueprint Expansions allow you to pick between Standard size and Expanded size for your home below the Architecture Style selection, when available.

To apply changes to your home's build and design, click on the Apply button.


Note:
  ➢ Architecture Elements changes will apply immediately.
  ➢ Other changes will take 1 minute to be reflected.
  ➢ Furniture will be stored automatically when applying changes.
  ➢ Extension can be purchased through My Home Coin Shop.

Community

Ain't no home without the community!

Features & Guides

Interact and connect with other users through the Community and Random Visits features!

Community features can be selected through the My Home UI by clicking the icon.

Your home can be named by editing it through the top icon in the Community UI.

You can also leave a Status Message by filling in the text field, which will be displayed to other users.

Set a Custom Nickname for your neighbors by selecting and clicking the bottom button.

To remove a Neighbor from your list, select their name and click on the button.

The Invite feature allows you to invite other Maplers to your home.

When inviting others, a notification will be displayed to them, above the Menu UI.

Note:
  ➢ If you restrict the visiting settings of your home, other Maplers will not be able to visit your home.
  ➢ Visit restriction can be set through the Blue Lightbulb button in the My Home UI.

You may Visit friends through the Community UI.

Simply click a name followed by Visit to visit their home.

To visit a random player's home, click on the icon in the My Home UI.

You can add a player as a Neighbor by clicking the button when visiting their home.

You can set a nickname for your Neighbor which will be displayed in your Neighbor list.

A player's home can be favorited by clicking on the button.

A heart icon will appear in your Neighbor list when you apply the Favourite features.

Caretaker

Even the masters need a caretaker!

Features & Guides

You can acquire a Caretaker by proceeding with the [My Home] House? House! My house! pre-requisite quest, and subsequently completing the quests of either:
  ➢ [My Home] Be My Caretaker, Alvin!
  ➢ [My Home] Be My Caretaker, Amy!

Caretaker features can be accessed by clicking on the icon in the My Home UI.

A Caretaker is a person who manages My Home.

You can choose between 3 Caretakers:
  ➢ Amy
  ➢ Alvin
  ➢ Jenny (unlocks after completing Ep. 2 Story Quest - New Neighbor, Jenny)

Caretakers have 5 types of stats:
  ➢ Household Chores: Increases duration of Caretakers' Buff
  ➢ Aesthetic Sense: Increases chance to obtain My Home Coin when Shopping
  ➢ Financial Management: Decreases Shopping duration
  ➢ Sociability: Increases maximum amount of visitors to your Home
  ➢ Intimacy: Increases effect of Caretakers' Buff

To increase their stats, chat with your Caretaker regularly!

Click the Talk button in the Caretaker UI and select your conversation topic.

Note:
  ➢ Talk can be done once a day.
  ➢ Stats are awarded randomly after conversation.
  ➢ Stats may decrease if you neglect or ignore your Caretaker for a certain amount of time.

By clicking the Relocate button, you can reposition your Caretaker to stand at the position you are at.

You can receive support buffs from the Caretaker by clicking the Receive Buff button.

Buffs can only be received once a day per World.

You can change Caretakers by clicking the Call Caretaker button.

Each Caretaker will have 5 attributes that will increase at random when conversing with them. Each attribute will have special effects depending on its stat value.

You cannot switch Caretakers for 10 minutes after calling a new Caretaker.
