Pharaoh's Treasure Maple Expedition

Treasure that's what you are

Developer Notes

A massive pyramid has emerged in the Nihal Desert!
Brave its dangers, explore its depths, and claim the Pharaoh's treasure!
Clear rogue-like stages to unlock achievements and earn chapter-based rewards.

Available to Level 101+, Zero character who has completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest
Tanjiro class cannot participate in this event.



Unleash your ultimate potential by choosing your path as a Warrior, Mage, Bowman, Thief, or Pirate, and embark on an epic Maple Expedition adventure, where every quest leads to hidden riches and the excitement of discovering untold wealth and ancient secrets!


How to start an Expedition
1. Start by completing the Maple Expedition Exploration Request introduction quest in the Event List.
2. Look for NPC Sonia in the event map and complete the [Pharaoh's Treasure] Pyramid Exploration Introduction quest.


3. Look for NPC Polyon in the event map and complete the [Pharaoh's Treasure] Pyramid Exploration Begins quest.


4. Only Chapter One is available in the beginning. Click Start.
5. When you enter for the first time, a short tutorial round will be will initiated.


6. Once complete the short tutorial, look for NPC Polyon again and select Show me the <Pharaoh's Treasure> exploration map. to open the Chapter UI.



How to start an a Hardcore Mode
1. When you complete a chapter at least once, claim your chapter rewards from NPC Sonia to unlock Hardcore mode for the chapter.
2. Hardcore mode toggle will appear in the Chapter UI.


3. Click the to change to Hardcore Mode.

Hardcore mode is only available for Chapters 1 to 5.

You earn double the Eternal Stone rewards for clearing Hardcore Mode.

Important Note

You can participate only 10 times a day per world.

You can only obtain the EXP reward from NPC Polyon when you reach the Eternal Stone daily limit.

You can only receive the EXP reward with characters level 200 and above.

All Artifacts and Skill Levels obtaining during a Chapter does not carry over to the next Chapter.

Z			Pick Up
N (NPC/Gather)			To interact with any Altar
Left CTRL = Default Main Attack Skill A, S, D = Skill Bind Skill Binds can be readjusted but control buttons cannot be changed.
Displays remaining time and current stage.
Displays remaining Health Point
Eternal Stone Gauge Displays Eternal Stone daily limit and current amount. 100 Eternal Stone points = 1 Eternal Stone
Return Button Moves back to event map.

Monsters

All monsters must be eliminated before moving on to the next stage.


Traps

Traps are set in every stage, and inflict damage both when you get near and touch it.


Sun Altar (Skill Altar) :

Choose 1 of 3 skills to learn

If you learn a skill you already have, the skill level increases.


Enhancement Altar (Stat Altar) :

Choose 1 of 3 stats to enhance.


Gold Altar (Pyramid Coins Altar) :

Receive different amounts of Pyramid Coins based on the difficulty of the stage.


Ancient Artifact Altar :

Artifacts dropped are based on Stage difficulty.

Claim dropped Artifacts with the "pick up" key (Z).


Eternal Stone Altar :

Claim Eternal Stone

Eternal Stone can be used in the event map with NPC Sonia to upgrade your character's "Eternal Force" (permanent character upgrades).


Portal: move to next stage when clicked.

Portal for moving to the next stage.

Can be used after receiving altar rewards (except for certain stages).

The mark above the portal indicates the altar rewards that will be in the next stage.

If a Stage has 2 or more portals, players can choose which portal to go through based on the rewards indicated by the mark on the portal.


Portal: move to next stage when clicked.

Portal for entering bonus stage.

Can be used after receiving altar rewards (except for certain stages).

There will be 2 Reward Altars, but exact rewards are unknown.

Only appears if next stage would have been a normal stage, and clearing bonus stage counts as clearing 1 normal stage.


Fountain of Life

Restores 50% of max health when used.

Healing amount can be upgraded with Eternal Force from NPC Sonia.


Pots

Pots will be placed randomly in the map.

When destroyed, has a chance to either drop pyramid coins or release poison gas.


Holy site of Blessings

Restores 10% of max health and gives one of three buffs when used.

1. Pharaoh's Blessing of Strength: increase attack power and crit chance for 3 min.

2. Pharaoh's Blessing of Speed: attack speed, movement speed and jump height will increase for 3 min.

3. Pharaoh's Blessing of Patience: defense and evasion will increase for 3 min.

Healing amount can be upgraded with Eternal Force from NPC Sonia.


Fireplace

The indicated item can be bought after clearing a Normal stage.

Can be used after stage clear and has the same mechanics as the shop (shown below).

No recovery items will be sold.


Shop

When entering a shop map, you can click on an item to buy it.

The item icon is displayed at the top, and the price is displayed at the bottom.

"Pyramid Coins" you have acquired can be used to buy items.

(The number of Pyramid Coins is shown at the bottom right of the dedicated status/inventory screen)

1) Recovery item: Immediately recovers characters health based on rarity of item.

2) Stat: Increase your stats based on the stat item you have purchased.

3) Skill: Learn skill (or level up skill) based on the skill item you have purchased.

4) Artifact: Purchased Artifact will drop on the floor.
