V Patch Notes [Part 4] (v163): Chew Chew Island!

1. Arcane River: Chew Chew Island

The second region of the Arcane River has been released!
To learn more about the Arcane River, read Part 2 of the patch notes.

Level Requirement: Level 210+
Quest Pre-requisite: Completed All Road to Extinction Storyline Quests.
How to Access: Jump off the cliff at the "Spray Waterfall" map at the end of the Road to Extinction.


Synopsis
As you jump off the cliff from the Road to Extinction,
A flying fish appears to break your fall.
You move fast and furious from the river current,
Hoping that you would reach the Black Mage at the end of this river.
However the river comes to a dead end, blocked by a massive creature.

Basic Information
• Chew Chew Island is splitted into 4 regions: Rainbow Garden, Slurp Forest, Err Valley, Mt. Sky Whale.
• The village is currently in crisis: A monster known as Gulla threatens it!
• As you complete story quests, you'll be able to unlock more regions of the area.
• You'll be able to obtain another Arcane Equipment here upon completion of story quests.
• Similarly like the Road to Extinction, you'll be able to obtain Core Gemstones and Arcane Symbol: Chew Chew Island via monster drops in this region!

Chew Chew Island Special Features


At the region of the Err Valley, you'll be able to experience a new swimming area!
• The river current constantly moves toward the right.
• Make use of the shortcut portals at the right end of the field to maxmise your hunting frequency!
• Instead of Runes spawning in this region, Baits will appear under the water of the swimming area. It works similarly like Runes, and gives special benefits + EXP bonus!


At the region of the Mt. Sky Whale, you will also be able to experience a new style of combat!
• Glittering pathways in midair will send you floating upwards between platforms.
• Skills can still be used floating in these mysterious powered zones.

Experience a colourful and chaotic journey, and save the village of Chew Chew!

2. New Party Quest: Hungry Muto

Level Requirement: Level 210+
Quest Pre-requisite: Completed All Chew Chew Island Storyline Quests.
How to Start: NPC Simia at A Quiet Place in Town (Chew Chew Island).

Help Muto fight off Gula and protect Chew Chew Island!



Basic Information
• Required Party Members: 1 ~ 4
• Time Limit: 10 Minutes
• Clear Limit: 3 times a day (Does not deduct counts if you disconnect / fail the PQ)
• Modes Available: Normal Mode, Hard Mode.
→ Normal Mode monsters requires 100 Arcane Force.
→ Hard Mode monsters requires 200 Arcane Force.

Tip: Do party up together, as the monsters are tough with the force of the Arcane!

Mechanics

• Collect ingredients for Simia and clique and deliver ingredients to the pot!
• Collect all ingredients and complete a dish before the bonus time gauge to clear faster!
• See the number of ingredients displayed on top of your head while picking up ingreidents.
• Do note that you can only loot one-kind of ingredient each time. Looting another kind of ingredient will replace the previous ingredient you've picked up.

Note:
• Pet looting skills is permanently disabled in this PQ.

Rewards
The faster you feed to help Muto fight off Gula, the more rewarding your reward is!

Depending on how fast you clear the Party Quest, you'll receive the following rewards.

Normal Mode:
Clear within 5 minutes: Arcane Symbol: Chew Chew Island x3
Clear within 8 minutes: Arcane Symbol: Chew Chew Island x2
Clear within 10 minutes: Arcane Symbol: Chew Chew Island x1

Hard Mode:
Clear within 5 minutes: Arcane Symbol: Chew Chew Island x5
Clear within 8 minutes: Arcane Symbol: Chew Chew Island x4
Clear within 10 minutes: Arcane Symbol: Chew Chew Island x3

You'll also receive high amount of Quest EXP upon completion of this Party Quest!

3. Revamped Content: Fishing System

Level Requirement: Level 33+
How to Start: Accept the quest from the Light Bulb on the left, [Tutorial] A Start to Fishing
Quick Access: Main UI > Menu Button > Fishing


The Fishing System has been revamped to provide a more intuitive gameplay!
(The Old Fishing System and its related maps has been removed)

What's new?
• Keeping the Fishing Concept, and to provide a realistic Fishing System!
• New rewards has been added!
• Weekly Fishing Ranking Contest system added!

How to Fish?


• Sit on your Fishing Chair. The Bait Bag UI will appear.
• Click on the Bait you wish to use.
• Wait for the fish to grab the hook...
• Upon a fish grabs your fishing bait, the fishing control UI will appear.
• Use your left / right control keys to control to the highlighted points, and press down to reduce the distance.
→ The bait will snap when it hits 99.0m
→ You catch a fish when it hits 0m!
• Fishes that aren't good enough will be sold to the Bait Shop in exchange for Mesos.

Fishing Areas




The new fishing system features 3 Fishing Holes, giving you a different atmospheric experience everytime you fish!
Each of them has its own daily quests, which can be completed to get more fishing related currency!

Fishing Ranking System


Every Monday at 3am ~ 4am, a fishing contest will be held!

Depending on how many rare fishes and good fishes you catch, you'll accumulate score and get ranked!
Be the best of the best to obtain the Top 1 Prize of 100 Fishing Coin + 10 Fishing Loot Random Box!
These Fishing Loot Random Box gives Fishing Materials which can be exchanged for rewards at Ruby's Fishing Shop!

Tip:
Don fret if you're not the 1st! Prizes go up to the Top 500, and even if you did not made it, you'll still receive a Participation prize!

4. Revamped Content: Wedding System

How to Access: Quick Move > Wedding Icon / Speak to NPC Nana K at Major Towns!


The Wedding System has been revamped to make it simplier, and more choices of different Wedding Styles!

What has changed?
• More different traditions and styles of Weddings has been added.
• Divorce finalization period has been decreased to 1 hour.
• New Anniversary Quests has been added.
• Existing users who got married before this revamp can exchange for the New House Wedding Ring via NPC Jayne at the New Wedding Hall map.

Styles of Weddings





With 4 diverse styles of wedding, couples now have a choice to decide which wedding style co-suits them the best!
All of these wedding styles shares the same wedding ticket, House Wedding Ticket which can be bought in the Cash Shop.
Simply enter the New Wedding Hall, select which style of wedding you would wish to use the ticket on and you and your partner can get married there!
These are the 4 Wedding Halls you can hold your wedding at.

Celebrate your everlasting love every 100 days!
Commemorate your 100 Days, 200 Days, up to 1000 Days of love, via NPC Vivian at the New Wedding Hall map.
Simply purchase the Commitment of Love Ticket from the Cash Shop to commemorate your power of love.
Each 100-day milestones achieved, you get an upgraded Wedding Rings!
Note: You can achieve a maximum of a 1000 Days Milestone.
