V Patch Notes [Part 5] (v163): Dreams & Nightmares

1. Arcane River: Dream City Lacheln

The third region of the Arcane River has been released!
To learn more about the Arcane River, read Part 2 of the patch notes.

Level Requirement: Level 220+
Quest Pre-requisite: Goodbye, Chew Chew Island.
How to Access: Speak to NPC Muto at Where Muto is lost.


Synopsis

As you continue your journey in the Arcane River with your flying fish, you arrive in a mysterious area.
Something, somewhere, begins to make you feel drowsy.
And before you realize it, you've slipped into the state of unconsciousness...

Basic Information
• The Dream City of Lacheln is splitted into 4 regions: Back Alley, Night Market, Ballroom, Clock Tower.
• Learn about the truth about the dream city, and save the people of Lacheln!
• As you complete story quests, you'll be able to unlock more regions of the area.
• You'll be able to obtain another Arcane Equipment here upon completion of story quests.
• Similarly like the Road to Extinction and Chew Chew Island, you'll be able to obtain Core Gemstones and Arcane Symbol: Lacheln through monster drops in this region!

Hidden Hunting Fields

• Hidden Hunting Fields has been opened in all Arcane River maps.
→ These fields are across the Arcane River 3 Regions of Road to Extinction, Chew Chew Island & Dream City Lacheln.
• To enter these fields, you need to complete the quest Clock Tower of Nightmares 4th Floor.
• 360 Arcane Force is needed to break the shields of these monsters in the Hidden Hunting Fields.
→ It is highly recommended to party up as they are really strong with the force of the Arcane!

Fantasma Coin Shop

• New Level 200 Arcaneshade Equipments can be obtained from the new Fantasma Coin Shop NPC!
• Exchange Arcane River Water Drop Stones & Butterfly Wings Water Drop Stone for Fantasma Coins via NPC Kanto.
→ Arcane River Water Drop Stones can be obtained via monsters drop in the Lacheln region.
→ Butterfly Wings Water Drop Stones can be obtained via the Lucid Boss.
• Trade in your hard-earned Fantasma Coin to NPC Didimo, to exchange for an Arcaneshade equipment piece of your choice!


Note: The Arcaneshade Equipment Set Bonus is the same throughout all job archtypes.

2. New Boss: Lucid

Level Requirement: Level 220+
Quest Pre-requisite: Clock Tower of Nightmares 4th Floor
How to Start: Speak to NPC Gasmask at Clock Tower of Nightmares Top Floor or via Boss UI.


Boss Fight Requirements
• Required Party Members: 1 ~ 6
• Time Limit: 30 Minutes (shared between all phases of the boss fight)
• Entry Limit: Once per day
• Clear Limit: Once per week, resets at every Thursday midnight
• Recommended Arcane Force: 360

Rewards
Upon defeating Lucid, you'll be bought to the outside of the Clock Tower to hit the Music Box!



The Music Box contains the following rewards:
• Butterfly Wings Water Drop Stones, which can be used to exchange for Fantasma Coins.
• Boss Medal of Honors
• Lucid Soul Shards
• Various Potions, Scrolls and Crafting Items
